Pavementism

The Pavements are a small group of guys who, whether alone or together, spend their time thinking out aloud. Actually, it is wrong to say that we spend time. We invest our time.

'Pavementism' is a world view that originates from the 'Pavementists' who believe that time is scarce and that one should therefore use it wisely. This includes the notion that keeping time is unwise and that marking time is wasteful. Having the time for a permanent time-out is the goal of Pavementism. Finding time to do things is not encouraged by pavementists.

But the central doctrine of Pavementism is that time is not money. You cannot buy time. You cannot give of your own time.
